on to this vast wasteland formerly known as a message board..they are almost obsolete with the advent of myspace, facebook and whatever other time suckers are out there... its a good thing I wasnt looking for gas..or i the middle of the desert with no water or just parachuted out of a falling plane or survived a burning train wreck because I would be all alone in here!
I bathe only in the hot summer because my taps only produce cold water, that would mean that I'm a smelly rotting infested freak from October to January or late February. B-U-M-P I also bathe with my bra on because I'm afraid that my boobs will fall off
I have a football club (BFG). I started it in 2002. We have this very same forum. Messages boards did take a hit and mine was no different. We had 50 ACTIVE members at once time, we had tons more members but about 50 active. That number has widdled down because of facebook, myspace and such. We have 20 active members and I booted all the deadbeats. But it's funny because we all became closer. I was hoping to make a trip to New York this year and hang out with some of the members but, since I can't quit spending money on car stuff, zine stuff and punk stuff, it's not going to happen.
So ya forums are much more fun than myspace and such but most people like the whole control of their own "site" with just people they like.

I blame it mostly on Facebook. They are like the Walmart of social networking. They have killed millions of smaller online niche communities. Look what happened to Michiganbands.com. That local music site was jumpin' before Facebook came on to the scene.
It's like millions of smaller mom & pop stores trying to compete with Wally World. They just can't.
Hey, at least you're getting pretty popular on Facebook.
